Caring for your enameled kitchenware is simple. Enamel is a coating of glass fused to a steel substrate. Your enameled kitchenware is not microwave safe. Each piece should be hand washed and is not dishwasher safe. The glass surface is durable but with excessive force it can crack and chip. Be careful to handle each piece with care.

Caring for your piece of brass kitchenware is quick and simple. Your spoon, fork, or knife can be put in the dishwasher but may change color slightly. I recommend hand washing your utensils. When brass ages and wears it can become a bit duller and sometimes produce green spots. This is from the alloy corroding slightly. The more you use your utensil the shinier it will stay. Your spoon, fork, or knife can be cleaned with a polishing cloth, or a soft scotchbrite pad or cloth and a paste combining lemon juice and baking soda. Rub on paste and rinse with soap and water. You can also soak your utensil in white vinegar and gently rub the surface.
